Terms of Service
Luminari is a [registered / pending registration as of 4.13.2026] Florida private school operating under s. 1002.42, F.S. and serves as a school of record supporting families across all 50 states. Enrollment formalizes the parent's role as the primary instructor and the student's role as an officially enrolled member of Luminari.
Funding Compliance
To protect scholarship eligibility under Florida law PEP students are restricted to the Curated Tier. Full enrollment in the Luminari World School tier is not permitted for PEP participants as it may invalidate their funding status.
Payment Terms
ESA and PEP Users: To comply with state funding rules the full 10-month school year payment is due upfront at enrollment.
Private Pay: Monthly payments are processed via automatic debit on your enrollment date each month. By enrolling you authorize Luminari to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Luminari is a school of record. When you enroll, we begin working immediately filing compliance documentation, curating your student's personalized pathway, and issuing institutional records. That work starts on day one and cannot be undone.
ESA and Scholarship-Funded Families
All ESA and PEP payments are non-refundable and non-cancellable for the enrolled school year.
When you enroll through a scholarship program, Luminari initiates full-year compliance filings, curriculum curation, and institutional record-keeping on your student's behalf. State funding rules also require that the full 10-month tuition is paid upfront at enrollment.
Because that work is underway from the moment you join, we are unable to issue refunds or release families from enrollment mid-year.

Private-Pay Families
Private-pay families are billed on a monthly automatic debit, processed on your enrollment date each month.
You may cancel future billing at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and stops all future charges.
We do not issue refunds for any month that has already been billed. This includes your current billing period at the time of cancellation and all prior months of enrollment.
There are no exceptions to this policy.
Educational Duty
Luminari provides the framework, compliance engine and curriculum curation. The Sovereign Parent is responsible for the final selection of materials and the delivery of instruction. The parent remains the primary educator and Sovereign Leader of the child's education.
School of Record
Luminari is a complete educational institution operating under s. 1002.42, F.S. Our students graduate with certified transcripts and a professional Luminari diploma. Our records and transcripts are designed to meet college-ready standards. Families are responsible for confirming acceptance with their specific colleges, programs or institutions as recognition varies.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute arising from your enrollment or use of the Luminari platform will first be submitted to informal resolution by contacting hello@luminari.school.
Changes to These Terms
Luminari reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify enrolled families of material changes by email. Continued enrollment after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
